Having been a fan of Dayrit’s since childhood, I for one would like to see them follow the lead of a Pancake House.
Abe
My brave, albeit pathetic attempt to immortalize a meal at one of Manila’s finest purveyors of Filipino food, Abe by LJC.
Octoboy Japanese Sizzling Pizza
Playing on the Filipino’s love for Japanese cuisine, pizzas, and all things sizzling, it’s evident that this clever, soothsaying…
Pepper Lunch Express
Somewhat of a deconstructed sizzling plate of fried rice, you get thinly cut slices of beef, corn, and white rice sprinkled with a generous dose of pepper.
Army Navy

Ma Chicken Mami House
Every Filipino knows that nothing tastes quite as good on a rainy day as a steaming hot bowl of noodle soup, and today was definitely no exception.
Mexicali

Mesa

Kowloon House

Uncle Cheffy, Lipa, Batangas
We were in Lipa, Batangas today to check on the soon-to-be site (I hope) of Henry and Mona’s Farm, stopping here at Uncle Cheffy for lunch before driving back…
Bonchon Crispy Chicken
Smashingly crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, though I did find the meat to be just a touch dry. The chicken had a nice sweet and spicy coating as well that was highly addictive.
Epiphany
Chef Joe sauntered up and down the seafood market’s alleys, hoping to find that special something that would serve as his inspiration for next week’s menu.
