As expected, we got what we came for – good, home-cooked food endearing in its rustic appeal despite the imperfections.
Pepper Lunch Express
Somewhat of a deconstructed sizzling plate of fried rice, you get thinly cut slices of beef, corn, and white rice sprinkled with a generous dose of pepper.
Ristras Mexican Grill
Ren and I were in agreement that the Ristras burrito we enjoyed that day was far and away the closest thing to a California burrito we had ever tried here in Manila.
Terry’s Selection
I’d be an idiot not to think that Juan Carlos de Terry’s food is about as authentic as you can get. Walking into his restaurant and shop, it just looks and feels that way.
Brasserie Cicou
Si vous vous demandez pourquoi cette intro est en français, il est à rendre hommage au Chef Cyrille Soenen de Prince Albert gloire, qui maintenant heaumes Cicou brasserie Greenhills.
Army Navy
Though I didn’t really like the burger that I had today, I did try other dishes on a previous visit that I enjoyed much more.
Mexicali
Having spent many years in San Francisco, I enjoyed a few of those delicious Mission district burritos myself.
Torch Restaurant
Going back to Valentine’s Day dinners, call me overly pragmatic but I’ve learned to celebrate ours the weekend or two before the actual day.
Mesa
To put things in synaesthete terms, I’d describe an experience at Mesa as one giant ray of gastronomic sunshine.
Shi Lin
Long a fan of Xiao Long Bao, I just found out that all this time, I’ve been employing the wrong consumption techniques.
Uncle Cheffy, Lipa, Batangas
We were in Lipa, Batangas today to check on the soon-to-be site (I hope) of Henry and Mona’s Farm, stopping here at Uncle Cheffy for lunch before driving back…
Bonchon Crispy Chicken
Smashingly crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, though I did find the meat to be just a touch dry. The chicken had a nice sweet and spicy coating as well that was highly addictive.
