Logo design for the Join-In trading company, based in Shanghai.

The client wanted his logo to communicate that his business centered around the importation of goods into China, hence the negative space trajectory going from left to right, from the English letters into the Chinese. The lucky coincidence that Join-In had a dash made it fit perfectly into the concept.


Among these rejected concepts, I like the one at the upper left the best, since I’m fond of slightly asymmestrical designs.
