Logo design for Perfect Album, a Dutch-owned DIY photoalbum provider based in Shanghai.
The client wanted a sleek logo that was more implicit rather than explicit, so I created this mark with the A in Album as an inverted book. It looks pretty cool, very modern and masculine, though for a family-oriented brand, I thought that a more colorful, lighthearted approach would be better. The client is always right though, so this concept won out.
Among these rejected concepts, I think the one at the upper left works best. It represents a family as well as the CMYK printing process.
